Dear Doggy Day Camp:

During the past eight years, Zak has been a regular at five different doggie day care facilities in the Denver area. Why five? I have moved twice and have changed jobs four times. My work schedule demands long hours and I owe Zak the companionship and mental stimulation he needs to thrive, so finding a convenient and quality doggie day care facility is a top priority for me.

Doggy Day Camp surpasses all the day care facilities I have used, and considered using, for the following reasons:

  1. A company is only as good as its employees, and the entire staff at Doggy Day Camp is exceptional. Leadership qualities and values are reflected throughout an entire organization, and Deb and her people truly care about the health and well being of their canine campers. Deb not only "talks the talk" (customer service) but she and her staff "walk the walk." They love the dogs. They understand the bond people have with their dogs.

  2. The values of all the staff at Doggy Day camp are reflected in the cleanliness of the entire facility. From the humans’ restroom to the dogs’ play room, a clean, odor-free environment is standard.

  3. One huge difference I see between other day care facilities where Zak has been a guest, and Doggy Day Camp, is the hands-on environment. Dogs are loved, petted, held (if they want to be), talked to, and watched over like they were children, by several staff members, not just one person at a time. Also, the opportunity for the dogs to go outside for twice-daily walks, adds to their enjoyment. Dogs love and need mental and physical exercise, and the added benefit of actually being outdoors for short periods certainly is evident in Zak’s attitude. Not only is he always eager to get into Doggy Day Camp in the morning, he is also a happy dog when he comes out in the afternoon.

Thanks Deb and your staff for creating a wonderful place for Zak. Even on days when I work from home, I often bring him in so he can socialize, and I can work in guilt-free peace.
